Boss Raids - Pintaurus

Boss raids happen once every three days, and the boss raids alternate between Pintaurus and Big Nose. Pintaurus, the giant evil monster of death seen above, awakens and murders every hero he sees. During the boss raid you will have ten attempts at dealing as much damage as you can to Pintaurus, and each attempt will cost you three energy. After your ten attempts, you may not attack any more, and will be forced to watch your rank slowly decrease while other players pass you.

In addition to his normal attack, Pintaurus has three special attacks to begin with, and gains an additional attack during his second phase.
Pintaurus's Attacks:
Normal Attack - he swings at you with his giant arm, normal attack.
Mental Breakdown - damages a single hero and stuns for two turns.
Cattle Driving Song - decreases the attack damage of your entire party for two turns.
Noogie of Disaster - a deadly skill that instantly kills any character.*
Beginning of Death - removes all positive buffs from your entire party.**
* Exceptions include heroes shielded against skills.
** Pintaurus only starts using in 2nd phase, when he is Raving Mad.

Facing off against Pintaurus. Destroyer Schlaken(3★) and Fluxion
Schlaken(4★) in front to take hits of Noogie of Disaster.
Before the boss raid begins, you should prepare by saving up any extra energy you may have from daily logins or events. Check the time of expiration if you have any extra energy in your gift box to make sure you can use it before the raid starts. You want to hopefully be able to use the extra energy on a Time Attack before the raid starts to get an Attack Damage increase or a Critical Chance increase buff. This will allow you to do even more damage to Pintaurus in each attempt. While a 4% or 6% attack increase may not seem a lot, after ten times, it may make all the difference in your final ranking.

If you have lasted long enough while fighting him, Pintaurus will become angry and enter his second phase, where he will attack more often and deal more damage when he attacks. As if that wasn't enough he gains another ability, Beginning of Death that removes all of your buffs from your party.

In order to even last long enough until that phase however, you will need heroes that can survive/immune to Pintaurus's Noogie of Disaster. These are specific heroes that have the skill that makes them "immune from spells". These currently include Destroyer Shacken (3★), Fluxion Shacken (4★), Lloyd (5★), and Teddybear Pinky (6★).

To maximize damage, in addition to Noogie-immune heroes, you will need the ability to either buff your own heroes, debuff Pintaurus, or remove Pintaurus's debuff on you. Pintaurus's Cattle Driving Song will drastically decrease the amount of damage your non-spell-immune heroes can do. So in order to counteract that, you will need to have a hero that removes his debuff, a hero that increases your party's attack, or a hero that decreases Pintaurus's defense.

Outside of ridiculous healers like Rebecca or a few other all-party healers, lower-grade and single-target healers are generally not a good pick to bring along. This is because healers do not contribute as much damage as a dealer would, and Pintaurus will most likely be doing damage to your heroes faster than you can heal them. However, if the healer has a debuff removal, then it might be worth it for reasons stated above.

Death is inevitable when you fight Pintaurus, as eventually he will completely and utterly destroy all your heroes. The goal is to deal as much damage as possible and score as many points as you can before that happens.
More carats to roll 2★s from! Yay!

Once the mayhem is over, you will be rewarded with carats for your mental suffering. The higher you rank, the more carats you will be given.
