Enhancing Heroes

Enhancing the 5★ hero Spear.
What is Enhancing?
Normally, the maximum level of one of your heroes can only go up to level 30.
‘Enhance’ is a feature where the maximum level of Master, Epic, Unique and Legendary grade heroes can be increased to 33.
To enhance a hero you will need:
1. One level 30 Master, Epic, Unique and Legend grade hero, and
2. Another identical hero (can be any level, even level 1)
3. Go to Heroes > Train > Enhance.
4. Select the hero you what to enhance and then the hero you will use as Enhancement ingredient (this hero will be used up in the process).
5. Enhance with Gold (differs for each grade)
6. Enhanced Hero!
7. You can now level up your ‘Enhanced’ hero to hero level 33.
(ex.) Level 30 Amelia(+5) + Level (1~30) Amelia + Gold = Enhanced Amelia

Enhancements has many advantages because it allows a hero to become more powerful. An enhanced hero has a maximum level of level 33. This allows the hero to become more even stronger past it's limit without having to fuse into the next grade level. Additionally, it allows for the hero to wear accessories. However, after the enhancement the hero is still level 30 and must be manually leveled. The enhanced hero requires much more experience to reach the next level than you would expect, and the experienced required to level may be around as much experience to level a hero from level 1 to 30. Therefore, it is advisable for you to level heroes that have undergone enhancement with high level missions such as those in Keronic, Cucubita, or Hell missions.
Enhanced heroes gain experience very slowly, and a whole mission may give less than 1% experience required to level up to the next level. In such cases, it may not show your hero getting experience, but don't worry, the experience is still counted.

Overall, the capability to level your hero past level 30 and the ability to equip accessories makes enhancement a very attractive option for training stronger heroes at the 5★ and 6 grades. However, you are probably better off fusing heroes that are 4★ aand below.

    1. No, you will not lose the upgrades. It will still be level 30 +5. But you can then level it up 3 more levels to level 33 +5.
